In order to open an account, you must be 18 years of age or older, a permanent resident of Canada, have a Canadian Credit File in existence, and agree to become a member of Cambrian Credit Union Limited.

Social Insurance Number

Current contact information

A personalized cheque (with your name and current address pre-printed on it) from another Canadian financial institution to make your initial deposit. If you are applying for a joint account, the joint applicant must also appear on the cheque or must submit their own qualifying cheque.

- If you are transferring an RRSP or RRIF from another financial institution, you will also need:

- Name and address of the financial institution

- Contract type

- Account/Deposit number

- Maturity date of RRSP/RRIF investment
